National child restraint laws

  • Up to 6 months
    A baby less than 6 months old must be put in an approved rearward-facing child car seat. This can be a baby capsule or a convertible child car seat.
  • 6 months to 4 years
    The minimum legal requirement for your child is an approved forward facing child seat with an inbuilt harness. However, rearward child car seats give your child the best protection
  • 4+ years
    Your child can now use a booster seat with a properly fastened and adjusted seatbelt or child harness.
  • 145cm or taller
    Your child should atleast be 145cm (or 4 feet 9 inches) to use the adult lap-sash seatbelt.

No, we don’t allow any of our vehicles to be used off-road and penalties apply.
Damage, Accident & Theft

Ensure safety of drivers and passengers. Call Ambulance on Triple Zero ‘000’ if necessary.
Do not admit liability under any circumstances, if the car needs towing call Thornlie Towing on 0411 241 649 Do not let anyone else tow the vehicle or you will be liable.

If this happens, we ask that you call the police and report it to our office immediately.
Any property damage is covered under our agreements.
Making a Booking
We collect your details and charge your credit card on the day of the booking.
We take a $400 deposit, if you reduce your damage liability this is reduced to a $200 deposit.
Yes, this is possible, the only requirement is that they have a current driver’s licence.
Yes, we understand that sometimes circumstances happen that are beyond your control, so you can do this any time

Absolutely. Every vehicle in our fleet is comprehensively covered by insurance.
Optional Accessories

We can, just let us know. This costs $5 for each day. We even have lightweight baby strollers! You can include these options in the online booking system

Yes, the baby seat will be fitted in the vehicle, but we ask that you triple check, to guarantee the safety of your child.
Absolutely. You have access to roadside assistance for 24 hours a day, should you require it.
Yes, to include a GPS with your rental it costs $5 each day to a maximum amount of $40. (Eg. 8 days $40, 12 days still $40)
We sure do. Optional accessories that might make your car hire a little bit more awesome include 45 litre cooler (aka esky) and deck chairs.
Pick Up, Drop Off & Transfers
We ask you to show us your current driver’s licence and credit card.
You can pick up your car from our Victoria Park depot, or we can arrange for you to collect it from any airport and hotel, if that suits you better.
Our operating times are 8am to 5pm on Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Cars can be picked up at any time day or night (prearranged)
Rates, Charges & Damage Cover

You only need to pay for any fuel that you use. We supply a full tank and expect that you’ll return with a full tank. Before you return your vehicle to us, please ensure you’ve filled up! If you don’t, we charge $3.50 a litre for fuel.

The nearest fuel stations to our depot are:

  • Gull Causeway, 170 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6100 (4 minutes away)
  • United, 225 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6100 (3 minutes away)
  • Puma Energy Office, 4/59 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6979 (5 minutes away)
  • Tru Personnel, 342 Albany Hwy, Victoria Park WA 6100 (8 minutes away)

Only if you go over the 200 free kilometres that we allocate you each day. Extra Kms are charged at 25 cents per kilometre.

Yes, we charge $5 per day for every driver.

No, you don’t have to worry about additional fees for holding an international licence.
Hopefully not! We give you a one hour grace period just in case you get caught in traffic. If you’re more than an hour late we charge one quarter of a day’s rental for every hour you’re late (up to full day).
We’ve been operating for more than 30 years.
You can travel as far north as Kalbarri and as far south as Albany. You can contact us for special permission to travel outside these boundaries.
